myResponder by SCDF

The myResponder app, developed by the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), is a life-saving mobile application that transforms ordinary citizens into community first responders. This innovative platform alerts registered users to nearby cardiac arrest cases and minor fires within their immediate vicinity, enabling them to provide crucial assistance before emergency services arrive. The app also allows users to report fires, medical emergencies, and other incidents directly to SCDF.

OneMap integration plays a vital role in the app's effectiveness by providing precise location-based services. When a cardiac arrest case is reported, the app uses OneMap's detailed mapping capabilities to pinpoint the exact location of the incident and identify registered responders within a 400-metre radius. The platform also displays the locations of the nearest Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for first aid responders to obtain while getting to the person in need of help.

OneService by MSO

The OneService app, developed by the Municipal Services Office (MSO), serves as a unified platform for Singapore residents to report municipal issues and book facilities. This application streamlines the process of reporting various neighbourhood concerns - from cleanliness and maintenance issues to pest control and infrastructure problems - without requiring citizens to know which specific agency is responsible.

When users report an issue, OneMap's precise location services help them accurately pin the exact location of the problem, complete with detailed building and street-level information. The platform's mapping capabilities also enable users to view reported cases in their vicinity, check the status of existing reports, and access information about nearby amenities and services.
